The Millennium Roots presentation at Technikon Natal’s Research Day stimulated much interest from potential participants. On display for the first time were the six millennium maps representing the proposed trade and tourism roots from Durban into the six neighbours of KZN.

The presentation by Dr Alex Coutts included a computerised data projection programme, highlighting the cultural re-mapping of the region now referred to as South Eastern Africa. Any schools interested in hosting a MillenniumRoots presentation can contact Bongeka at Technikon Natal’s department of journalism on (031) 203-6614 or Mikhail Peppas on 082 491-5656.
