The Rhumbelow Community Project Theatre, now in to its 15th month of operation, desperately needs a piano.

“We have started the alterations for the awning on the side of the theatre,” says Roland Stansell, one of the founders of the project. “This is thanks to all regular supporters for their contribution in supporting the venue. We have put a substantial amount of money back in to the venue and are continuing to do so. These improvements will better equip the venue as an alternative fringe theatre for Durban.

“Many of our shows require a piano or keyboard and it is very costly and awkward carting pianos around for shows. We are therefore desperately making a plea for anyone who may have a good condition piano lying around the house gathering dust that is not being used, to donate it to the theatre .We can offer in return a full year’s tickets for a full table of eight to all our shows.”

Phone or email Roland if you have a piano to offer on 031 205-7602 (home) or 082 499-8636 or email roland@stansell.za.net
