The Durban group of Amnesty International, South Africa's oldest AI group, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a gala dinner and evening's entertainment on August 3 in the beautifully restored 100 year-old St Mary's church hall.

The occasion includes a three-course dinner, devised and cooked by two of Durban's “passionate foodies” Wouter Gildenhuys and Coral Vinsen, assisted by others of the same ilk.

Award-winning choreographer Jay Pather is to present a contemporary dance item and well-known Durban auctioneer Mike Hoff will auction items generously donated by friends of AI Durban.

Those needing further information, or who wish to make a booking, offer services or resources or donate an article for the fundraising auction, should contact Coral Vinsen on Tel/Fax: 031 564-7239 (h) or 083 303-654 or Myra Taylor on 031 260-4499 (w), 031 266-1592 (h) or e-mail: vinsen@saol.com Tickets R80.
