Entries are invited from designers for the Smirnoff Fashion Experience, which has grown out of the country’s premier student fashion competition, the Smirnoff International Fashion Awards. The competition is now open to final year fashion design students and fashion designers who graduated less an five years ago. Storyboard judging takes place in mid-July.

The prize is designed to be a launch-pad to set the winner up in business and includes R25 000 in cash, a contract to produce limited edition promotional clothing for Smirnoff for a year and an industrial overlocker, plain sewer, iron and board and scissors from Bersack Brothers.
