This year the popular youth event, KTV Market Day will take place today (September 29). Following requests from any of last year’s young entrepreneurs who participated in the event and completed the evaluation form, KTV has decided to move the event to a warmer time of the year and in a period when it will not interfere with the school exams. In its sixth successful year, KTV Market Day has taken a new creative look.

The event aims to play an instrumental role in developing business skills amongst the youth in South Africa. Since its inception in 1996, the project has promoted the entrepreneurial spirit of children by giving them a taste of running their own small business, and having a great amount of fun at the same time. K-TV Market Day will be held from 10h00 until 15h30 at the Amphitheatre, North Beach, Durban and The Mayor’s Garden, Alexandra Park, Pietermaritzburg.
