The Durban branch of Wizo (Women’s International Zionist Organisation) regularly host fun evenings titled Parachute Debate. At these functions guest speakers have to create fun explanations as to why they would be entitled to the last parachute aboard an aircraft that is about to crashland!

The next function will take place on Wednesday (May 16) in the Durban Jewish Club Lounge from 19h30 for 20h00. Guest speakers will be comedian Frank Graham, Roger Burrows (MPP Leader of DP KZN), East Coast Radio DJ Daryl Illbury, dermatologist Dr Dylan Naidoo, attorney Susan Abro (VP of the Natal Law Society), investment specialist Mark Levy and epidemiologist Dr Mark Colvin.

Captain and MC will be Mike Lipschitz, former mayor of Durban, and the judges will be Supreme Court judge Alan Magid, Lew Heilbron (President CKNJ) and attorney Deon Pincus.

Tickets R50 but you’ll need to hurry for this one because it’s nearly booked out. To book or for details of the next Parachute Debate contact Caren Peer (Chairman of Wizo) on 083 703-8169.
