Over the past five years the Playhouse Company's bold strides in the advancement of dance by and for children with disabilities has seen “young eagles soar”. The dominant experience for disabled people in KwaZulu-Natal participating in dance projects is that choreographers' prescribed works often fail to allow for the individual freedom of expression of the participants.

This is where African Eagles makes a difference - by articulating the concerns of young KZN artists with disabilities and sharing these with audiences. African Eagles' exciting approach unites and integrates previously segregated communities - by including children from schools for the disabled, and "mainstream" scholars.

The show takes place in the Playhouse Drama from March 8 to 9. Book at TicketWeb.
