The Playhouse Company’s manager of props and decor hire Michael Qwabe died recently in Durban from a serious illness.

Situated at the Playhouse’s Mayville complex, Michael Qwabe was in charge of the department that made props and décor for productions and stored them afterwards. Like the Playhouse costume hire department, props and décor are available for hire and members of the public taking advantage of this service would have made the acquaintance of this genial and friendly man on those occasions. He will be sorely missed.
