At the beginning of May, TicketWeb became The Playhouse Company’s official ticketing agent, with an outlet in the Playhouse Complex. The move to TicketWeb promises to offer patrons a greater degree of convenience and proved itself with the first production at the Playhouse under the new system, Lord of The Dance.

Tickets can now be booked 24 hours a day, seven days a week and there is a facility for patrons to choose their preferred method of purchase: Tickets can be purchased at various outlets such as selected Engen Quickshops, Edgars Department Stores and Mr Delivery; via the internet on www.ticketweb.co.za; or by calling the TicketWeb Call Centre on 0861 400 500.

During the transitional phase, tickets for the following productions will still be sold via Computicket: La Vida Latino (running in the Playhouse Cellar until May 21); MTN Joyous Celebration 4 (Playhouse Opera Theatre, May 25 to 27) and Defending the Caveman (Playhouse Opera Theatre, July 25 to 27).
