Durban is about to launch yet another unprecedented spectacle at Sea World's Dolphinarium with the presentation of Liquid Blue 2000, the event is fast becoming the number one show on the fashion calendar. Such was the demand for bookings last year, that the organisers have arranged two consecutive showings on March 24 and 25 - where 10 designers will be selected from hundreds of entries to take part in this event.

This show is a collaboration between Sea World, the Independent on Saturday, East Coast Radio and entities such as Very, Very Big Productions, Gearhouse, Eventco and Tanya van Agthoven Public Relations and Productions, all geared to ensure Liquid Blue 2000 is the fashion event of the year on the Durban calendar.

"The event is staged in aid of the South African Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMBRA) incorporating Sea World, Durban Sea World Education Centre and the Oceanographic Research Institutre (or) who rely heavily on donations and gifts. Liquid Blue 2000 aims at assisting by raising funds for Dolphin Care and the sustenance of the Dolphinarium and Aquarium amonst other critical needs," says Kelvin Glen of Sea World.
