The annual International Franchise Expo (IFE 2000), hosted by FASA (Franchise Association of Southern Africa) takes place from March 23 to 25 at Gallagher Estate, Midrand. It remains the only true franchise expo in the country with a focused vision which caters specifically and exclusively to the franchise market.

The business categories which have demonstrated above average growth in number of franchised systems since 1995 in South Africa include Printing and Photographic development and Hair, Health and Beauty as well as Automotive products and services, Business to Business services and Education and Training.

Nic Louw, Executive Director of FASA, believes that anyone in business should take the time to visit IFE 2000. "With our wide range of franchise systems and a large number of franchise experts represented, business people might well discover that their business could easily be franchised!"
