The Playhouse Company will embark on a new and advanced arts training programme for talented youth from April 1 to the end of September 2000. Classes will be held on Saturdays, with the programme culminating in a production to be included in the Youth Arts Buzz in September.

The programme will be taught by professional educators and will integrate performing arts forms such as drama, dance and music to ensure all-round, multi-disciplinary exposure and training for the students. Applicants should be experienced performers and/or seriously considering a career in the performing arts, and will be selected on the basis of merit.

Interested youth between the ages of 12 and 18 should contact Tania Babour on (031) 369-9467 for an application form. Applications close on 27 January and auditions will be held on February 26 and 27, 2000. (NB: There are only 15 vacancies)
