The popular radio documentary programme The Inner Ear is broadcast on SAfm on Wednesdays at 20h00 and repeated on Sundays at 09h30.

On November 24 (repeated (November 28), Peter James-Smith will present Oh Flower of Scotland – from Belmont to Magersfontein. He will mark the centenary of Lord Methuen’s advance, and eventual defeat. Rather than dwell on the past, he will look at the battlefield today and the people who farm there today and their general approach to life.
