The popular adult pantomime Aladdin which has been running at the Royal Hotel Grill room over the festive season moves to Kwasuka Theatre from January 25.

The cast remains the same: Heading the line-up is Anthony Stonier as the irrepressible Genie with Princess Jasmine as a vision in sexy harem pants (Julia Clarence) to hunky Aladdin (Marc Kay). There’s sex-starved Widow Twankie (Peter Court) and her sidekick Bubbles (Rowan Bartlett), praying for someone to send in the Marines. Audiences are invited to scream or throw things as the evil Sultana (the Bag of Baghdad – Clare Mortimer) raises hell again with her nasty plots.

The production is written by Patrick Hyland and directed by Peter Court who has also designed the set. Costume design is by Kit Reading.

Aladdin runs at Kwasuka Theatre from January 25 to March 12 with performances Tuesday to Saturday at 20h00. Tickets R65 (R40 low price previews on January 25 and 26).
