After consultation with various community representatives, the KZN Millennium Roots Project has completed the initial draft mapping of each of the six Millennia Hope Roots. The maps have been produced with the help of computer specialists and are available for public inspection at the Critical Moment Photojournalism Gallery on Technikon Natal’s City Campus in Smith Street. Interested parties throughout South Eastern Africa (SEA) are requested to ensure that the final maps are determined through maximum participation.

A pilot field trip to research the San People Root (Root 5) is planned for early 2000. The trip will provide essential cultural, economic and visual material for various educational publications associated with the Millennia Hope Roots. The draft Millennia maps will soon be available on the existing KZN Millennium Roots web site http://mzone.mweb.co.za/residents/csread/2000.htm Further information from Mikhail Peppas on (031) 203-6622 or 082 491-5656.
