The Bat Centre is a truly dimensional venue. As the hub of KwaZulu-Natal's cultural experience, it takes into consideration the well-being of people who patronise it through the recently launched self-esteem and motivational sessions.

Conducted by Lucy, a talk show hostess and motivational guru, they take place at the Bat Centre every Monday from 17h30 to 18h30 free of charge. These sessions deal with issues like self-healing, celebrating womanhood, forgiveness etc.

Lucy also has her own talk show radio program every Sunday with the Durban Youth Radio based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. With the granting of a TV licence to Ethekwini 's Greater Durban Television which has its headquarters at the Bat Centre, Lucy is the television's talk show hostess!
