The Other Side Of Everest or “I've done Everest ... so you won’t have to!” is the title of a special fund-raising event for the Pietermaritzburg-based Music Revival.

Patricia Glyn, popular radio and TV personality, visits Hilton to present her experiences on her recent Everest expedition. Her visit to Pietermaritzburg is part of a national tour promoting her recently published book diarising her experiences, Off Peak.

This will be an informal, informative (and humorous) discussion illustrated with slides. Patricia, who always has a popular appeal with her candid views and insightful observations, gives a non-climber’s perspective on the Everest experience.

The talk will take place on April 24 at 19h30 at Wedgwood in Hilton. Tickets R80 with proceeds to the Music Revival Trust. The books will be on sale.
