My name is Kevin G. Mulqueen and I work with Cultural Arts Committee for Deaf Way II.

We are currently accepting proposals from artists in the performing, visual and literary arts for the Deaf Way II Conference, Arts Festival and Artists’ Symposium to take place in July, 2002. Over 10,000 participants and more than 400 artists from around the world will gather in Washington, DC to celebrate excellence in the arts.

Deaf or hard of hearing artists are encouraged to submit work on any theme. Hearing artists should submit work that deals in some way with Deaf culture or deafness. The deadline for artists to submit proposals to appear or exhibit is April 15, 2001. Carefully consider what you would like to perform or exhibit during Deaf Way II and then quickly send in your proposal.

If anyone is interested in performing to Deaf Way II, or if you know any Deaf artists and/or performance then I would like to have their address including yours, where I can send them information. Alternatively they can find those information on webpage www.deafway.org
