I Care, in association with O’Donoghue and Associates Advertising, have announced their submission into the prestigious Multichoice Vuka! Awards 2006.

The Vuka! Awards is a national competition that invites local advertising agencies to produce a television commercial in the form of a public service announcement for a charity or non-profit organisation. The top 30% of all entries are screened on DSTV.

I Care is a Durban based non-profit charity organisation aimed at providing street-children with educational and rehabilitation opportunities, thereby empowering them with long term life-skills, which offer brighter prospects for their futures.

“We would like to express our deepest thanks to O’Donoghue and Associates for their invaluable assistance”, says Denise Cochrane, Chairperson of the I Care Campaign for Streetchildren.

“Without them, I Care would not have been able to pursue this fantastic opportunity which offers us so much potential exposure to further our public awareness and fundraising campaigns. We are immensely grateful for their time and efforts on our behalf”.
