The Pietermaritzburg-based University Film Club's Classic Movie on August 31 is Terrence Malick's 1974 classic, Badlands. This was Malick's remarkable debut and remains one of the great American films. What could have been just another story of young lovers on the run is made unforgettable by Malick's style and Tak Fujimoto's stunning cinematography.

Films are shown at 18h00 in the CVA lecture Theatre in Ridge Road, Pietermaritzburg.
