On May 4, the University Film Club is screening The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, Ranier Fassbinder's 1972 film in which he explores his recurrent concern with the dynamics of donination and submission. Here the central relationships are those between fashion designer Petra and her mutely obedient servant Marlene and between Petra and her now model and lover, Karin.

The film will be shown at 18h00 in the CVA lecture theatre Ridge Road. Safe parking is available.
