TCM on DStv will show the classic movie, Some Came Running on March 21 at 21h00.

Made in 1959 and directed by Vincente Minnelli, it stars Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine.

Based on James Jones's massive novel, this drama stars Frank Sinatra in the lead as the James Jones alter ego. Sinatra portrays Dave Hirsch, the stereotypical writer who is deeply troubled and has just been "sent home" by his service buddies after he'd gotten drunk. He's surprised to learn that a sweet, dim-witted pushover named Ginnie Moorehead, played to perfection by Shirley MacLaine, came with him on the bus from Chicago.
