On March 9, the Pietermaritzburg-based University Film Club is showing Robert Altman's 1971 film, McCabe & Mrs Miller.

This is Altman's revisionist Western, set in the Pacific Northwest during the 1900s and stars Warren Beatty and Julie Christie. The score includes deliberately anachronistic Leonard Cohen ballads.

The films will be shown at 18h00 in the CVA lecture theatre in Ridge Road, Pietermaritzburg. Safe parking.
