Born and Bred, the gentle family drama set in the 1950s in the beautiful Lancashire village of Ormston, returns for another series on BBC Prime on DStv.

Life moves on; and with Tom’s departure for New Zealand, a new face arrives on the scene; Dr Logan is young, good-looking and very confident. He's certainly set to send a few pulses racing - especially when he makes an explosive entrance. Meanwhile, Dr Donald Newman takes over the running of the practice – and there is shocking news for Tom’s family and everyone in the village.

With Oliver Milburn as Dr Nick Logan, Kelly Harrison as Nancy Brisley, Richard Wilson as Dr Donald Newman and Nigel Havers as Mr Henry Williamson.

Born and Bred can be seen on Fridays at 18h00.
