Featuring in M-Net’s Monday Night Premières on June 13 at 20h30 is The Life Of David Gale. Co-produced by Nicolas Cage and directed by Alan Parker, it stars Kevin Spacey, Kate Winslet, Laura Linney, Gabriel Mann and Matt Craven.

America's judicial system comes under the spotlight in this gripping Death Row drama about a convicted man who tells all to a reporter.

Ex-philosophy professor and anti-death penalty campaigner Dr David Gale has been on Death Row since 1996 for the rape and murder of a woman. Now, three days before his last meal and the lethal injection that will silence him forever, he wants to talk to hotshot reporter Bitsey Bloom. As Bitsey listens to his story, she becomes convinced Gale was framed. Now she has 24 hours to prove his innocence and save his life. Both a mystery and a thriller, this thought-provoking film carries a strong anti-capital punishment message.
