Tyrant. Womanizer. Ruler who changed England forever. In the five centuries since his death, the life and legacy of Henry VIII has continued to fascinate the world. So too, have the lives of those left in his wake including his many wives - women by turn, humbled, bewitching, pious, tragic, adulterous, and devoted.

Here is the epic story of the private world, the public scandals, and the extraordinary 38-year reign of the charismatic king-turned-wife-killer-turned-bitter-invalid, desperate for a male heir.
