The Durban Animation Network’s first DVD volume has been completed and delivered to the Durban Film Festival organisers.

“This has been no small achievement given that most contributors had little more than a month to put together an original animation,” says Mike McFadyean, co-ordinator of the Durban Animation Network. “This is in addition to their normal daily commitments, like. holding down a job, studying or running a business. I offer a huge thanks to those who took up the challenge and made a contribution.”

The first DAN volume will be screened on June 15 at 12h00 at Shepstone 2 (University of Kwa-Zulu Natal); June 18 at 18h00 at KwaMashu (see programme for details of venue), and on June 24 at 11h00 at The STABLES. Admission is free of charge.
