Dinner in a Box is a weekly series on BBC Prime on DStv presented by top chef, Curtis Stone in which he helps busy people - who find themselves too short of time to cook - to offer up a stylish and tasty dish at a dinner party for their friends.

Each programme will be hosted from a stylish kitchen location, where Curtis is presented with a dinner party dilemma. The dilemma will require time - something the host doesn’t have. Curtis will then show viewers a number of ways to cut corners while still managing to obtain the most glamorous and tasty food at maximum speed.

At the end of each programme, the host takes away the “dinner in a box”. The credits roll with viewers seeing the food being prepared and enjoyed at the real dinner party.
