Popular television programme Top Billing is to feature Durban’s recently opened boutique lodge, Teremok, in Umhlanga Rocks on SABC3 at 19h30 on December 26.

This former home of a mining family has been meticulously transformed into a luxurious haven for business executives and the well-heeled. “Teremok” is Russian for “hideaway” and, despite its proximity to the beach and accessibility to amenities, it is an oasis of serenity. Each room boasts its own balcony offering breathtaking views of the sea and landscaped gardens. Hands-on owners (associated with The Barnyard Theatre) ensure that personalised service and attention to detail are mandatory.

Top Billing have chosen Teremok as the location for their festive season show and will also screen an insert on the transformation of the home into a lodge. They will be speaking to co-owner Debbie Davidson, interior designer Grant Webster, architect Adrian Morris, and fashion designer Terrence Bray (who designed the guest gowns and slippers and staff uniforms).
