Meet one of the stars of M-Net's first locally produced comedy series, Kalahari Oasis, on Jerry Springer’s Saturday Night on January 25.

Actor Ian Roberts tells Jerry more about the production and introduces him to fellow actors Norman Anstey and Fats Bookholane who then perform the theme song of Kalahari Oasis. Ian also teaches Jerry how to pronounce the word, "Xhosa" - don't miss this lesson in South African linguistics!

Then cricketer and commentator Fanie De Villiers teaches Jerry some cricket in preparation for the World Cup! Jerry really struggles with the terminology and the rules and Fanie gives him a small cricket kit to start the game back home in the US.

Next up is a local band, Sons of Trout, who tell Jerry about life on tour and their career. They also perform two tracks from their latest CD.

Jerry Springer is also introduced to Miss Bikini Heaven, Martie Grobbelaar, who will represent South Africa in the international competition in the US later this year.

Jerry and his guests promise a fun-filled show with lots of laughs and great entertainment on January 25 at 21h55 on M-Net.
