The powerful one-hour series Citizen Baines starts on M-Net on August 25 at 19h00.

Senator Elliot Baines is the longest incumbent who has ever represented Washington State in the nation’s capital. He served three terms as a Congressman, three as a Senator, which amount to 25 years of his life dedicated to politics.

But when it all ended in a dramatic way, Baines is forced to begin the next act of his life, in this drama series titled Citizen Baines.

With little experience in any world other than politics, Baines (James Cromwell) returns home to rebuild relationships with his three grown daughters, whose lives have been deeply shaped by his political passions.
