Happy Feet, which will be screened on M-Net on April 6 at 20h00, features the voices of Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman.

From George Miller, writer and producer of Babe, comes this charming animated movie set in the Antarctica, where Emperor penguins set great store on family, fish and finding the perfect note. There is consternation when Mumble, the chick of Norma Jean and Memphis, turns out to be different. Mumble can’t sing a note, but he can tap-dance. As he grows older, he takes a shine to Gloria, a diva, but his flipper tapping seems to get on her nerves and those of the elders, who blame his dancing on the dwindling fish supply.

Mumble then teams up with a group of happy-go-lucky Adelie penguins to solve the mystery of the missing fish and redeem himself in the eyes of his colony. Oscar and Bafta wins for best animated movie, and Golden Globe for best song (Prince’s The Song of the Heart). Keep your ears pricked for the voice of Robin Williams in two roles: Ramon, Mumble’s friend, and Lovelace, the guru in the Adelie colony.
