Starting January 23 at 20h00 on M-Net, Feast of the Uninvited is the first of a series of brand new dramatic six-part mini-series with a unique South African flavour.

Directed by Katinka Heyns, penned by PG du Plessis, and featuring many of South Africa’s finest actors, Feast of the Uninvited is a touching love story set against the backdrop of the Anglo-Boer War.

During wartime, the social fabric of everyday life is torn to shreds. People’s futures become uncertain and in these desperate times they find themselves doing what would have been unthinkable during the secure times of peace.

To Captain Brooks, Harry the Welsh miner, the wealthy Van Wyk family and people like Daantjie van Wyk and his beautiful wife, Magrieta, the war became the ultimate test of who they really were. Never could they have imagined that such nameless fears, jealousies and hatreds lurked inside them.

Feast of the Uninvited stars Marius Weyers, Anna-Mart van der Merwe, Jana Cilliers and her daughter Lika van den Bergh, Neil Sandilands, Cobus Rossouw, Albert Maritz and many more.
