NU Metro Home Entertainment has produced The Last King of Scotland on DVD at the recommended retail price of R149.95. The movie is directed by Kevin MacDonald and stars Forest Whitaker, James McAvoy, Kerry Washington and Gillian Anderson and David Oyelowo.

Deftly mixing fact and fiction and startlingly resonant with today’s world, the film features a tour de force performance from Forest Whitaker as Idi Amin and carves two unforgettable portraits: one of a charismatic but psychopathic ruler who ravaged his country and the other, of a witness to history who finally finds the courage to make a stand.
