The next meeting of the North Coast Art Group will be held at the La Lucia Library Hall on August 16.

The speaker will be Athlene Waters who will discuss Creating an Illusion of Space and Drawing from Still Life, composing a Tonal sketch with light and dark passages. Participants should take along (preferably) A3 Ashrad drawing paper (smooth) six sheets. Power Star drawing book (this has tracing paper between pages); a couple of coloured A4 sheets of smooth paper, for final drawings. Unipen Fineliner, Pilot Fineliner or Pental Ultrafine Fineliner all these items can be bought from Umhlanga Stationers. Ruler and rubber. Faber Castell Pencils 3 - 6. Small scissors, View finder if possible. A3+ Drawing board or something to press on – you will be using your laps not tables to press on. No water needed.
