Westville Theatre Club will host the musical play Pop Op at the end of September and promises a fun-filled, dance-filled fantasy.

"The evil Jazzman and his followers have taken over the once beautiful city of Sockem.com,” reads the publicity material. “What will they do? They need a Hero! Will Hero and the beautiful Layla triumph and win the day? Will the “goodies" defeat the "baddies"?? A frightening task - after all with Top Hat and Arabesque, Candyman and Baby Louie and not to mention the wicked Wiz Pinball to defeat - it will be no easy task!!! Will The Shadow show the way?"

Pop Op runs at the Westville Civic Centre from September 25 to 30 and again from October 1 to 4 at 19h00 for 19h30, with the curtain up at 20h00. Matinees on September 27 and October 4 at 14h00, curtain up at 14h30. Take your own snacks/picnic. There is a cash bar. Bookings on 031 266 5239.
