“When you have Ella Fitzgerald, Engelbert Humperdinck and Old Blue Eyes on the stage together then you have some of the best songs that were ever written,” says popular entertainer Colin Penn who will present a new show titled Ella and Her Fellas at the Norwegian Hall and DHS.

Ella will be played by star of stage, radio, recording and film, Pinky Mtshali with Grant Bell (one of the well -known Geejays) as Frankie. Lenny Bowes, who recently starred in the successful Rat Pack Show, appears in the part of Engelbert Humperdinck. The full programme will be backed by Colin Penn and his Pennants, promising an evening of great songs, great music, great gags and wonderful memories.

Ella was known as the First Lady of Swing and Frankie was voted The Voice of the Century. Need we say more?” quips Colin Penn.

Ella and Her Fellas will be presented on September 7 at the Norwegian Hall. Tickets R80 includes hot and cold buffet at 13h00 and show at 14h00. Please BYO refreshments picnic style (ie glasses, ice, etc).
