On September 14, the KZN Philharmonic launches its Spring Symphony Season with the National Youth Concerto Festival conducted by Lykele Temmingh.

The National Youth Concerto Festival is a sought-after vehicle for young musicians wanting to make their mark. It sets a high standard of performance as the cream of young South African artists are put through their paces with a programme that offers a feast of classical fare.

The concert takes place in the Durban City Hall at 19h30.

All KZNPO symphony season concerts are preceded by a pre concert lecture which takes place at the Royal Hotel at 18h15. The price is R25 per head which includes the lecture and light refreshments.
