The Music School at the University of KwaZulu-Natal holds regular free lunch-hour concerts during each semester. These take place from 12h15 to 13h00 in Howard College Theatre on campus.

August 21: Mary Dullea (piano) and Darragh Morgan (violin) perform a selection of modern classics by Stravinsky, Szymanowski and Enescu and music by Irish composers Deirdre McKay, Eric Sweeney, Simon Mawhinney and John Buckley.

August 28: Jenny Samuelsson (flute) and Liezl-Maret Jacobs (piano). Swedish exchange student from Artisten at the University of Gothenburg, Jenny Samuelsson will perform a selection of Nordic pieces including works by Frumerie and Nielsen accompanied by Liezl-Maret Jacobs.

August 30: Soloists from the UKZN Opera Studio and Choral Academy will perform a varied programme of solos and ensembles accompanied by Andrew Warburton, Bobby Mills and Gerhard Geist at the piano.
