Big Concerts, Algoa FM, East Coast Radio and 94.7 Highveld Stereo are to present international superstar, Bryan Adams, on tour in South Africa in March 2006. He will appear in Durban on March 11 (Cape Town March 7; Port Elizabeth March 9 and Johannesburg March 12).

Marking the Canadian superstar’s fourth tour to South Africa it looks set to be just as outstanding as the first three (1994, 1999 and 2002).

With a two-decade career under his belt, Bryan Adams remains one of the biggest recording artists in the world. His songs have achieved No.1 status globally. Awards include a Grammy, an American Music Award, countless industry and song-writing awards and accolades including three Academy Award nominations for his music and lyrics in film soundtracks. He holds the record for the longest running No.1 single in British music history with his hit "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You". In addition to this he has been awarded the notable Order Of Canada.

His shows offer a repertoire that contains a selection of ballads, like “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You and Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? and rock favourites like Cuts Like A Knife, 18 till I die and Summer of ‘69. Room Service, his 11th studio album, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard European Top 100 albums Chart, and was met with worldwide critical acclaim, selling millions of copies globally.
