Baroque 2000 is to team up once again with the acclaimed Drakensberg Boys’ Choir for three concerts, one in Durban and two at the school's auditorium in the Champagne Castle area.

One of the great boys choirs of the world, and famed for its expertise in various genres, the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir has toured internationally, appeared frequently on television and made a number of CDs.

Baroque 2000 has established a reputation as a fine ensemble since its formation six years ago and this collaboration with the choir features two of Bach’s oratorios: the Easter and the Ascension.

The first concert is at the Church of St John the Divine, 205 Clark Road in Durban on April 24 at 19h00.

There will be two performances of the same programme at the Drakensberg Boys Choir school as part of the Mims Festival: on April 29 at 20h00 and on April 30 at 11h00.
