With sports lovers focusing on the 2004 Olympics in Athens, members of Kearsney College Choir at Botha’s Hill are now back at home after appearing in the Choir Olympics in Germany.

Having been crowned the Choir Olympic Champions, the 50 pupils have plenty to sing about. The chior sang in the open age group against mostly adult chiors. They picked up a bronze in the “chamber” selection, silver in the “pop choral” and gold in the folkelore” category.

And a week before the Olympics in Bremen, the chior also won the international Youth and Music Festival in Australia.
