MasterCard and East Coast Radio are to present Joseph Clark Sings…Queen which will be a fundraising concert by St Mary’s Hospital at Mariannhill for children infected with HIV/AIDS. The show features a selection of the British rock group Queen’s music powerfully performed by Joseph Clark accompanied by lead guitarist, Nathan Smith.

Joseph and Nathan will take audiences on a roller coaster ride with a collection of Queen’s greatest hits. The show also features dancers from The Fantastic Flying Fish Dance Company, Durban soprano Thokozani Mkhize and the Penzance Primary Choir.

Acknowledged for his dynamic energy and ability to do justice to the music and persona of Freddie Mercury, Joseph Clarke will be remembered for his sensational performances in Geoffrey Sutherland’s acclaimed production Queen at the Opera.

The public is urged to support St Mary’s Hospital in their battle against HIV/AIDS by buying tickets to the special show. All proceeds will be used to purchase much-needed medicine to treat opportunistic infections, vitamins, nappies, bandages, blood and life saving equipment for their Children’s Ward.
