Eric Hutton's critically acclaimed Elton, which was produced as a Playhouse Cellar production in 1997 opens in the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre for a short one-week season from September 7 to 12. The show ran for six and half months (and 187 performances) to full capacity and has played to thousands around the country and still enjoys resounding success wherever it is performed.

Talented performers Anthony Stonier, Percy Smith, Clinton Philander and Dale Venter feature in Elton which is directed by Peter Court, choreographed by Sharon Braby and written by Eric Hutton. There are only 4 public performances as the rest of the run has been sold directly to charities as fundraisers.
