The Durban Botanic Gardens Trust in association with the Astronomical Society of Southern Africa (Durban Centre) and the Durban Natural Science Museum host the annual Gardens Star Party…a chance to discover the wonders of the night sky.

The Star Party at the Gardens forms part of the Astronomical Society of Southern Africa’s Biennial Symposium that takes place from August 7 to 9 at the Durban Country Club. As always there will be a great talk, telescopes and night sky enthusiasts to share the evening with. Bring a picnic basket and a warm blanket for a unique Friday evening out.

Star Party takes place at the Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Complex on August 8 at 17h30. Tickets R45 (R30 Seniors & Students of tertiary education and R25 DBG Friends & school learners). Children under six free.
