The Cato Manor Area Based Management has been working on setting up a flea market on a site at the corner of Booth and Bellair roads in Cato Manor.

The main objective of setting up the flea market is to provide an alternative market for the products and services of local SMME's and entrepreneurs that have been supported by the city’s local economic development programme over the years. The flea market provides a regular platform for trade to take place. It will initially take place every Sunday, but if the demand exists, then it could open more frequently.
