On June 20, Adams Musgrave will host a local author promotion involving three exciting new books.

A Book Called a Moment is a novel about a woman struggling to find herself. "In a moment a person’s life can change. That's all it takes." Read the novel to find what it is that changes Lily's. Catherine de Waal is the nom de plume of an experienced authoress.

Watercolour Painting with Alan Raubenheimer is an attractive paperback that gives prospective painters a wealth of advice about how to get ahead in this challenging field. Priced at R60 for the evening’s promotion, it contains plenty of colour and offers good value.

Flat 9 is Mariam Akabor's collection of stories set in the Grey Street area in Durban. Mariam is an English honours graduate of the University of Natal (now University of KZN) with a real talent for creative writing and Durban readers will appreciate the authenticity with which she describes her community.

A highlight of the evening will be the talk by Professor Michael Green who will introduce the books and their authors.
