A book for children written and illustrated during two literature workshops in Reykjavík and Cape Town by a group of South African and Nordic authors will be published and distributed in South Africa in August. A township library in the Cape Town area will receive a donation of books in English by Nordic writers.

This venture has been made possible by Shuttle ‘99 a collaborative effort by certain Nordic countries to promote and exchange artistic skills with their South African counterparts.
