Come to the Kwasuka Cutting Edge Theatre on September 9 between 14h00 and 17h00 for A Reading In Solidarity With Zimbabwe which comprises poetry readings and discussion by some of South Africa's top poets and activists. Join the UKZN Centre For Civil Society and the Kwasuka in co-operation with the Peter Weiss Foundation for Art and Politics, Berlin.

Grace Kwinjeh, Dennis Brutus, Ashwin Desai and many Durban friends of Zimbabwe will join hundreds of world-renowned authors, poets, artists and activists who are gathering the world over to express concern and generate political solidarity. The event is a global one-day readathon to raise consciousness about the plight of Zimbabweans who are struggling for social justice, democracy, freedom of expression and economic survival.
