M-Net has announced that the men who'll be showing South Africans how to laugh at themselves on its new comedy show, Laugh Out Loud, will be Jeremy Mansfield and Darren Simpson.

Jeremy Mansfield is a seasoned broadcast professional, with experience in both television and radio. David Simpson is a relative newcomer, and will be a new face to many viewers. Well-known to 94.7 Highveld Stereo listeners for his phone pranks and off-the-wall humour, he will work on sketches and hoaxes on the show.

Laugh Out Loud, produced by comedy guru Bobby Heaney, will combine hoaxes, scams and pranks to get viewers laughing. While most of the show will be filled with scams devised by a team of devious writers, a key component is a section which will allow viewers to submit tapes of their own clever hoaxes.

It's the first time that M-Net has produced a comedy series since It's a Funny Country a few years ago.

Viewers can submit video footage of their pranks and hoaxes for Laugh Out Loud to Bobby Heaney Productions at 7 Kangnussie Street, Blairgowrie, Randburg, or P.O. Box 2145, Pinegowrie, 2123.

Laugh Out Loud premieres on M-Net on August 17 at 19h30.
